Fall Decorating

Many families have gotten those late night calls “You’re a fall and should decorate accordingly” but few have paid attention to them. This is understandable since the calls often come at 2 am when you’re groggy and tired. However, you should consider their warning and I am going to help you. To incorporate a fall crispness in your home that will last during the sticky summer months, use soft, mild colors such as mustard, tomato and basil colors as your decorating theme. Simply use the color as a backdrop for the rest of the room or add touches of it to your furniture. Harvest. Adding a touch of the harvest is as simple as planting fall foliage or vegetables outside the doors and windows, or placing bowls of your homegrown vegetables and drying wildflowers around.
